Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at First United Methodist Church, with a reception to follow at the church.
Mr. Pitts was a Realtor.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Roy Pitts; three daughters, Deborah Beth Hoffman, Kamilee Lynn Rucker and Cherlyn Anne Crawford, all of Grand Junction; two brothers, Jerry and Don, both of Kansas City, Missouri; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
