William ""Bill"" V. Robison

February 17, 1931 - January 24, 2016

William ""Bill"" Robison of Grand Junction, Colorado, died peacefully at his home on January 24, 2016.

Bill married Anita JoAnn Robison on December 26, 1953 in Fruita, CO. Together they loved and raised three children, Darrell, Debra, and Donna. They were married for 51 years. Bill served in the US Army for 28 months and then had a 30 year career with Mountain Bell, retiring in 1982.

Bill was a caring and compassionate man who enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping. He was a devoted fan of the Colorado Rockies and Denver Broncos and enjoyed many trips to Mesquite with family and friends. As Grandpa, he was a very supportive and loved to watch his grandkids compete in baseball and BMX racing.

He is survived by his three children, Darrell (Trish) Robison; Debra (Scott) Bishop, and Donna Sanford; six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson. Bill was preceded in death by his wife, JoAnn; son-in-law, Steve Sanford; granddaughter, Leah Marie Robison Hill, and brothers, Cliff and Sherm.

Services will be held Thursday, January 28, 2016, at 10:00 a.m. at the Clifton Vineyard Church, 483 30 Road, Grand Junction, followed by a reception. Graveside burial will be at 1:00 p.m. at Orchard Mesa Cemetery.
