

Services will take place at 2 p.m. April 9 at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary Chapel.
Mr. Trader was a teacher.
Survivors include two daughters, Amy Hawkins of Eckert and Kristin Trader of Parker; and one grandchild.

Max Trader
November 7, 1940 - January 25, 2016
Max Trader of Grand Junction, CO, loving husband and father, passed away on January 25, 2016, at HopeWest Hospice, at the age of 75.
Max was born November 7, 1940, in Montrose, CO to Clair and Ruby Trader. He grew up in Boulder, CO and graduated from Boulder High School. He received his Master's Degree from the University of Northern Colorado with an emphasis in Education. He taught at Taylor Elementary, Palisade, CO for many years and will always be in the hearts and minds of the many students he taught.
In 1965 he married the love of his life, Beth. They were the world's greatest parents to their two daughters, Kristin and Amy. Max and Beth are fondly remembered by their children for the family dinner where each person would share the details of their day.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his wife.
He is survived by his daughters, Kristin Trader and Amy (Trader) Hawkins; his son-in-law, Nate Hawkins; his amazing grandson, Kole J. Hawkins and his sister, Jeanette Pancost.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to HopeWest Hospice of Grand Junction.
A memorial service will be held on April 9, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary
