William “Willie” Don Morris Jr. died at home in Grand Junction, Colorado on February 20, 2018. Willie was born on September 01, 1959 in Grand Junction to William Don Morris Sr. and Barbara Jo Hutton. Willie worked in maintenance for Hilltop for several years. He loved fishing, and spending time with his family and friends, but above all, he loved his Lord. Willie has always been very creative, and in recent months he took up oil painting, and hand carving wooden crosses, which he gifted to patients under hospice care.
Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Monday at Palisade Nazarene Church. Services will follow at 10 a.m. at the church. Burial will follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Nancy; one son, Travis of Grand Junction; two daughters, Crystal Morris and Tanya Kelly, both of Grand Junction; his mother, Barbara Hutton Balok of Grand Junction; one sister, Tammy Bedford of Grand Junction; and five grandchildren.
