Alvin Leonard Hall, a resident of Berryville, Ark., departed this life Friday, May 18, 2012, in Berryvile, at the age of 88 years. Graveside service: 11 a.m. Wednesday in Cumby Cemetery in Cumby. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Bean-Massey-Burge Funeral Home (Dalworth) in Grand Prairie.
Leonard was born Feb. 23, 1924, in Hopkins County, a son of Joseph L. and Vera J. Romans Hall.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Beverly Parker; three sisters; and two brothers.
On June 5, 1943, Leonard was united in marriage with Imogene Toles, who survives him, of the home.
Survivors: His wife, Imogene; daughter, Patsy and husband, Richard Wilson, of Berryville, Ark.; brother, Truett and wife, Jane Hall, of Texas; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; several aunts and uncles; numerous family members; and a host of other friends and loved ones.
