Barbara Seal

Barbara was born in Greenville, TX on March 3, 1943. She moved to Lubbock, TX as a child and attended Lubbock High School. It was in Lubbock where she met the love of her life, Jackie James Seal of Ropesville, TX. They were married on March 2, 1961. It was in Lubbock where they started their family. The family moved to Grand Prairie, TX in 1973 where she lived until the time of her death. Barbara and Jack both worked for Continental Battery until they retired. Anyone that knew Barbara knew the love she had for her sweet dog, “Baby”.

Barbara is preceded in death by her parents L.O. and Sue Collins of Lubbock, TX, her brother Jerry Collins and his wife JoAnn of Barrington, IL.

Barbara is survived by her husband, Jackie James Seal of Grand Prairie, TX; her daughters, Shelly Crowley (John) of Bedford, TX; Lisa Seal of Grand Prairie, TX. Her sister, Judy Ryals (Arlin) of Lubbock, TX; her grandchildren, Tiffani Deller (Adam) of Dallas, TX; Lauren Bechtel (Carter) of Fort Worth, TX; Alexis Ridgel of North Richland Hills, TX; Ashley Masters (Clay) of Mertzon and Aaron Masters of Midland, TX. Great Grandchildren, Kateri Masters, Heston Deller, Porter Deller, Macie Scott, Charli Wilson and Sloan Bechtel.

A visitation for Barbara will be held Friday, March 22, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Bean-Massey-Burge Funeral Home, 2951 S. Belt Line Road, Grand Prairie, TX 75052. A funeral will occur Saturday, March 23, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Crossroads Christian Church, 6450 S State Hwy 360, Grand Prairie, TX 75052. In Lieu of flowers you may make contributions to the American Diabetes Association or the American Heart Association.
