Christopher Sean Turner, age 47, of Grand Prairie, Texas passed away on Friday, August 27, 2021. Christopher was born November 7, 1973 in Grand Prairie, Texas to Yvonne Turner. He attended school in Grand Prairie ISD.
Sean was a fun-loving and inquisitive child. He was the baby boy and youngest brother to Clift and Steven. Sean attended the local Kingdom Hall in Grand Prairie, Texas and most recently started attending the Lake Highlands congregation in Garland, Texas. As a youngster, Sean’s favorite Kingdom song was “To Whom Do you Belong?” and his favorite scripture was James 4:8 “Draw close to God, and he will draw close to you.”
Despite his illness, he was very happy when he attended the congregation meetings. Everybody would comment about his beautiful smile, and he loved showing his “pearly whites”. He was especially excited to attend the Annual Regional Convention in Irving twice. During COVID he stayed well-connected via Zoom meetings; faithfully serving Jehovah.
On August 27, Sean fell asleep in death after a lengthy illness.
Sean will be greatly missed by all who knew him, especially his mother, Yvonne, and brothers, Steven (Sybil) and Clift. He is also survived by his wife, Patty; his special cousin, Tiffani Edwards, a host of nieces and nephews; and Special friends Vicki and Brandon Bryant.
As we draw closer to God’s new world, we look forward to the resurrection of Sean and many others who have fallen asleep in death.
Memorial Service will be held Saturday, September 25, 2021 at 1:00pm. Please join the family via Zoom ID 846-0021-2161; Password - 629462.
In Appreciation
During these trying hours, your presence has sustained us, your prayers have increased our faith and your words have encouraged our hearts. The food, the flowers, the thought of every card, and the phone calls added a touch of beauty to a setting of sadness.
We pray that each of you will be showered with Jehovah’s blessings.
