Cindy spent the majority of her childhood in San Angelo, TX, and then in 1962 the Glass family moved to Grand Prairie. She attended Grand Prairie High school where she enjoyed and excelled in musical arts, playing the violin in the orchestra and participating in choir, while doing musicals with a group called The Capers. She attended college at UTA in 1970 where she participated in Choir and Drama. She was married to Wayne Cummins on May 29th, 1971. Then, over a year later on August 9th, 1972, the light of her eyes, her son, Christopher, was born.
Cindy worked in the administration field for several companies to include the Sloan Company, and Lokey Iron and Alloy. She was a member of the Methodist Church. Cindy's greatest passion was her family where her golden heart and gentle spirit was truly shown through the love she had for her son and her grandchildren.
Cindy was preceded in death by her father, John E. Glass, and her mother, Ruth Mae (King) Glass.
She is survived by her sister, Janet, and her husband, Larry, and son, Christopher Cummins, and his wife, Lisa, and her grandchildren, Chase (wife Katie), Kelsie, and Colton.
A memorial service for Cindy will be held Friday, February 17, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Bean-Massey-Burge Funeral Home, 2951 S. Belt Line Road, Grand Prairie, TX 75052.
