Dorothy "Dottie" Wheeler Collins (age 91) of Grand Prairie, Tx passed away at 3:14 am on July 3, 2018. She was born in McLennan County on March 14, 1927.

Dorothy had a varied career in insurance, retail, and apartment management. After retirement, Dorothy enjoyed spending time with her family and friends as well as her many hobbies.

She was able to reach the age of 91 because of her fur babies, Max and Lilly. Her love for her family and concern for others will be sincerely missed.

She is survived by her daughter, Sharon Rivers, along with nieces: Janice Meadows, Vickie Jackson and her husband, John; nephews: Darell Gill, Steve Stephens and his wife Cathy, Joe Bob Wheeler, Greg Shell, and Mark Shell and his wife Diana. Also, she has numerous great nieces and nephews along with many friends who loved her as well.
