Dorothy Nell (Long) Ginn, age 80,passed away February 2, 2017 after a prolonged illness. She was born December 24, 1936 to S.C. and Ruby Long in the community of Edhube, Texas, just south of Bonham,Texas. She was preceeded in death by her parents, two older brothers Eugene Long and Lloyd Long, and her husband Jim Ginn. Survivors include brothers Wayne and James Long, children Jody and Mitchell Cantrell and daughter Debra Irwin, grandchildren Brad and Tim Cantrell and Daniel Garcia. Great-grandchildren Jared, Baron, and Paige Cantrell and Daniel Jr. and Alan Garcia. Many nieces and nephews and their children. She had unofficially adopted others who needed it. She was loyal to her family and true to her many friends. We can all take comfort in knowing that she had accepted our LORD JESUS CHRIST as her savior and has gone with him to be with GOD forever. Visitation will be at Grand Prairie Funeral Home, 733 Dalworth Street, Grand Prairie, Texas. Public viewing is from 6-8 p.m on Friday February 10, 2017 and her funeral service will be the next day, Saturday February 11,2017 at 10 a.m.
