Janice worked for many years as Store Manager for Braum's Ice Cream Store in Grand Prairie, and later as a cafeteria worker
for Crockett Elementary School. In the late 90's upon John T's retirement she moved with her husband to Whitney, TX, where they
spent several years. Her kindness touched many lives and she will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Survived by her most loving husband of 60 years, John T. Rodgers Sr., of Whitney, TX; 4 children, John Rodgers Jr., Steve Rodgers,
David Rodgers, Janice Lynn Swisher; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sisters, Carol Ann Pickle, Marsha Sue Rodgers Jordan,
and Kathy Lynn Rodgers Koplan. Visitation: 6 pm to 8 pm, Thursday, March 17, 2016 at Bean-Massey-Burge Funeral Home;
Funeral Service: 9:30 a.m., Friday, March 18, 2016 at Bean-Massey-Burge Funeral Home Chapel; Burial: Parkdale Cemetery in Arlington.
