

Son of Ray and Henrietta Dingman was born in Paris, TX on January 9, 1945. He passed away on March, 17, 2024 in Grand Prairie, TX.
Eddie was a graduate of Grand Prairie High School in 1963. He attended Arlington State College and East Texas State College. He served for 6 years in the Texas Army National Guard. He worked for the Ling-Temco-Vought (LTV) Credit Union. He then worked for Oak Farms Dairy driving a bobtail truck in the Dallas Fort Worth Area. He then drove an 18 wheeler for Borden’s until he retired.
He played Baritone in the First Baptist Church Band for several years. He loved watching the Cowboys lose and the Texas Rangers win. He enjoyed car shows in person and on television. He liked family vacations. He loved “Wacky Wednesdays” and watching his great nieces grow up.
Eddie was preceded in death by his parents Ray and Henrietta Dingman. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Joan Dingman; daughter, Tamara Haniford and son, Chad Dingman (Brian Allen). He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Gloria Conner (Mike) and his niece, Christi Maier (Andy), and his great-nieces Avery and Audrey.
He had unwavering faith. When having difficulties, he would look to Philippians 4:13 “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
A funeral service for Eddie will be held on March 28, 2024 at First Baptist Church of Grand Prairie located at: 950 Mayfield Road Grand Prairie, TX 75052 visitation at 10:00am and the service to follow at 11:00.
Burial will take place at 1:00 at Moore Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens located at: 1219 North Davis Drive Arlington, TX 76012
