Gary Morris Taylor

Gary grew up in Grand Prairie, Texas. He graduated from Grand Prairie High School in 1972 and attended Mt. View College. Gary worked for Old Dominion Freight Service and Xpedx Paper. He was introduced to Lin on a blind date and it was love at first sight. They were married February 22, 1990 and spent 30 years in love.

Gary was an avid Dallas Cowboy and Texas Ranger fan. He enjoyed golfing at Prairie Lakes Golf Course and fishing with his brother-in-law, Eddie in Galveston Bay. He also worked the chains for the Gopher football games with Wayne Henslee and Bobby Jack Edwards for the past 27 years.

Gary was a true southern gentleman with the kindest heart. When he made friends they were life long. He never gossiped or spoke a bad word about anyone and was always there to help. He was a wonderful friend who loved his family dearly.

He is survived by his wife Lin "Linda" Taylor, sister Glenda Anderson and husband Eddie, niece Haley VanCleave and her husband, Phil and their children, nephew Brent Anderson and his wife, Natalie and their children.
