Harriett Lucille (Driskell) Smith, 87, of Grand Prairie, passed away May 12, 2011. She was born in Elmwood, Illinois on May 2, 1924 to Milo Dean and Hazel Marie (Yerby) Driskell. She married Weldon Glenn Smith on October 16, 1952 in Greenville. Harriett was a member of the Freetown Rd Church of Christ where she was an active member. She was preceded in death by her brother Franklin Talbert Driskell, a sister Vera Eileen (Driskell) Harris and a son Michael Ivan Smith. She is survived by her husband Weldon G. Smith of Grand Prairie; son, William (Bill) Webster; daughter, Melinda (Mindy Smith) Kaps; daughter in law, Sharon (Jordan) Smith; grandchildren, Deana (Webster) Goettel, Glenn Webster, Shelby (Smith) Sumerlin, Brittany Smith, Jeremy Kaps, Dustin Kaps, and Curtis Kaps; Nine great grand children, two sister-in-laws, one brother in law and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
