Herminia Santillan

It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to a beautiful soul and wonderful spirit. Herminia, best known to her family and friends as “Minnie” or “Doña Minnie,” was passionate about her family and always showed her love through her cooking and by hosting holiday events in her home. She was kind to everyone and helped people in any way she could.

She is reunited with her parents, Pablo and Soledad Suniga; her brothers, Pablo Suniga and Juan Suniga; and her sister, Virginia Suniga.

She will forever be in the hearts of her sisters, Maria Ambriz and Beatrize Suniga; her brothers, Lazaro Suniga and Enrique Suniga; her daughters, Elvia Hernandez, Sylvia Salazar, Christina Hernandez, and Marcella Santillan; her sons-in-law, Jason Salazar and Steven Gomez; her grandchildren, Victoria, Jonathan, Juanito, Jacklynn, Victoria, Vanessa, Austin, Jose, Emiley, and Nadia; and her great-grandchildren, Kaleb, Mia, Sofie, Timothy, Liliana, Carter, Ethan, Fernando Jr., and Mayfield.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Grand Prairie Funeral Home, 733 Dalworth Street, Grand Prairie, TX 75050, US, on March 21, 2026, from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm.
