She was born on March 26, 1943, in Cyril, OK, and spent her final moments surrounded by
the love and warmth of her family in Mansfield, TX.
Jean was a vibrant soul, known for her infectious laughter and her love for life's simple
pleasures. Her family fondly remembers her humming to the tunes of Elvis and Janis Joplin
while her hands worked the earth in her beloved garden. Jean's spirit was as bright and
colorful as the flowers she nurtured, and her passion for gardening was only rivaled by her
love for traveling. She enjoyed many trips throughout the US and Canada with Randy and
Panama City Beach, Florida with family. In Florida, she loved to sit on the balcony with a
glass of wine, surrounded by her family, and listen to the sound of the waves crashing on
the shore.
Jean was preceded in death by her husband Randy McLaughlin, sons Kenny Warren and
Tony Mclaughlin, and daughter Nita Taylor. Her family takes comfort in knowing that she is
now at rest, reunited with her cherished loved ones.
Throughout her life, Jean was the cornerstone of her family, providing unwavering support
and unconditional love. She is remembered with much love by her brother Danny Deason
and his wife Durga and their family, daughter Judy Watson and husband Ricky Watson Sr.,
son-in-law Dan Taylor, her four grandchildren Steve Warren and wife Katie, Jennifer Padilla
and husband Armando, Andrew Warren and wife Jen, and Ricky Watson Jr. and wife Kat. The
light of her life shone even brighter with the birth of her great-grandson, Aiden Padilla, with
whom she shared a special bond.
As we bid farewell to Jean McLaughlin, we celebrate a life well-lived, full of love, joy, and the
beauty of nature. She has left an indelible mark on the hearts of those who loved her, and
she will be deeply missed. Jean's story is not one of sorrow but of a life that was rich with
the experiences that she held dear.
In the quiet moments, when we find ourselves listening to the classics of Elvis or Janis
Joplin, or when we see the vibrant colors of a well-tended garden, we will think of Jean. And
in the gentle lapping of the ocean waves against the shore, we will feel her presence,
reminding us to embrace the joys of life as she did.
We say goodbye to Jean McLaughlin, not with sadness, but with gratitude for the time we
were blessed to have her in our lives. Her journey on this earth has ended, but her spirit
continues to inspire us. Jean's love, laughter, and the lessons she imparted will be her
everlasting gift to her family and all who knew her.
