Joyce dedicated her career to operator services and retired from Southwestern Bell/AT&T after years of hard work and commitment. A faithful member of Jehovah's Witnesses, she found strength in her faith and cherished her spiritual community.
In her free time, Joyce loved sewing and gardening, creating beauty in both fabric and nature. She had a caring and creative spirit that will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her loving family, Tony Johns and Codi Brown, as well as her five beloved grandchildren; niece, Bianca Johnson and sisters, Kathie King and Laura. She was preceded in death by her parents,
Loyd King and Margaret D. King.
Joyce's kindness and love will be remembered forever. A celebration of life for Joyce will be held Saturday, February 1, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Grand Prairie Funeral Home, 733 Dalworth Street, Grand Prairie, TX 75050.
