Karla Melody Ault

Karla Melody Ault passed away on Friday, March 1, 2024, at the age of 54. She was born in Dallas on May 29, 1969, to Daniel Ault and Patsy (Brown) Ault Sandacz. In 1975, her family moved to Grand Prairie, where she grew up.

She began playing softball at the age of eight, which became her passion. She excelled in school, played the clarinet in concert band and marching band, was a member of the flagcore, and played volleyball.

Karla was an outstanding softball player in high school, which earned her a scholarship to play at Ranger Junior College, where she is recognized in their Who's Who of Ranger Junior College. After college she became a leader at every job she worked at.

She was a devoted daughter, sister, aunt, and animal lover, She worked with a no-kill animal shelter and fostered dogs until they found a forever home.

Karla is preceded in death by her grandmother, Gladys Brown, grandfather, Jack Bailey Brown, and father, Daniel Ault.

She is survived by her mother Patsy Sandacz, step-father Kevin Sandacz, brother Michael Ault, sister-in-law Linda Aguinaga, nieces Anika, Bailey, Reira, and Kiley Ault.

A visitation for Karla will be held Wednesday, March 13, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Bean-Massey-Burge Funeral Home, 2951 S. Belt Line Road, Grand Prairie, TX 75052. A funeral will occur Wednesday, March 13, 2024 at 12:00 PM, 2951 S. Belt Line Road, Grand Prairie, TX 75052. A graveside service will occur Wednesday, March 13, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Grand Prairie Memorial Gardens, 3001 S Belt Line Rd, Grand Prairie, TX 75052.
