Lee graduated from Irving High School in 1955. He married Pearl in 1960 and served in the U.S. Army from 1960 to 1962. After he returned from his service they settled in Grand Prairie, Texas. He worked for Gifford-Hill for 47 years where he was nicknamed “Big Red”.
Lee was a member of Thomas B. Hunter Masonic Lodge #1356. He was quiet unless you knew him, a very conservative and dedicated man he loved to travel with his family and watch football. Lee had a homemade camper that he would load the family up and hit the road. They visited over 40 states. He was also very proud of his sons accomplishments in sports and loved Elvis.
Lee is preceded in death by his father Edward Walker; mother Ethel Walker; brothers CB Walker and Ed Walker Jr.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Pearl Walker; sons, Jeffrey Wayne Walker and wife Kati, David Keith Walker and wife Candy; grandchildren, Jessica, Haleigh B., Whitney, Abigail, Madelyn, and Allysa; great granddaughter, Lauren Walker; sisters, Wanda Pittman and Liz Chesley; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
