Leta Chasteen Ensey, joined her Lord Jesus Christ, her mother, and Elvis, on September 21, 2012. Memorial Service will be at 4:00 p.m., Thursday at Bean-Massey-Burge Chapel. Survivors include: Son, Keith and wife Joy Oberfeld; Daughter, Ashley and husband Jacob Stasch; Grandchildren, Brooklyn; Brother, Ronnie Chasteen; and numerous nieces and nephews. Also her Saint, Shadeaux. In lieu of flowers - donations may be made in Leta's name to the SPCA or the St. Bernard Rescue. Leta spent her life in the entertainment industry as a entrepreneur, a journalist and a booking agent. She interviewed several acts during her full life including Elvis, Willie Nelson, Eddy Raven, Dolly Parton, Billy Ray Cyrus, Loretta Lynn, Beatles, the Oak Ridge Boys and many others. She was passionate about music, books and playing the piano. She retired from Triumph, formerly Vought Aircraft, and worked many years as a paralegal. She loved life, travel, and all things with St. Bernards on them.
