

At the age of 7, Lois moved to Dallas, Texas. She graduated from Adamson High School in 1956 and attended TSCW (Texas State College for Women). While walking around one day a young man named David saw her outside of the grocery store window where he worked and had to talk to her. They were married April 25, 1957.
They had 5 children, and even though her main job was a mother she did have several office administration jobs. Her favorite was when she worked for Sears in the children's department. Lois enjoyed reading mysteries, cross stitch and watching Gibbs on NCIS. She was a strong prayer warrior and often reached out to her nephew who is a monk. A member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Arlington since 1989 where she taught Vacation Bible School.
Lois was a loving, strong-willed woman with a dry sense of humor but a talent for creating parody's. She loved cats, with at least one in the house and multiple strays that would come for meal time. A devoted wife and mother, she was a good provider and never missed her children's activities. In 1973 their family permanently moved to Grand Prairie, Texas.
She is survived by her husband David "Bill" Hunt; children: Shelly Hunt, David Hunt and wife, Cindy, Patrick Hunt and wife, Kat, William Hunt and fiancé Jessica, Michael Hunt and fiancé Erin; grandchildren: Jonathan, Melissa, Jennifer, Branden, Stephanie, Sam, Jerah, Ayden; great-grandchildren: Lauren, Gabriel, Collin, Lilamae and sister Janie Johnson and her husband, Bob.
