Ludy is survived by her parents; her husband, Luis Enrique Tristan; step-daughter Sandra LeeAnn Tristan; sister Noelia Vicenta Saenz; grandmother Paula Saenz, as well as her extended family of aunts, uncles and cousins.
Ludy was born in Dallas on October 26, 1973 to Ramiro and Janie Saenz. She graduated from Sunset High School in 1992 and worked with Dallas Public Schools for 20 years. She loved children and relished her years of service to the school district. On November 6, 1999, she married Luis, an IT specialist, whom she had dated for four years. On February 13, 2006 and April 26, 2007 respectively, she welcomed two beautiful children, Leslie Hope Tristan and Matthew JuanPablo Tristan, who were on this Earth briefly, but who remained the most important part of her life. She always dreamed of being a mother.
Ludy was a devoted daughter, wife, sister and friend. Warm and friendly, she could light up a room and make anyone she encountered feel special. She touched the lives of many with her infectious smile and goofy sense of humor. She lived life to the fullest, enjoyed cooking, food, dancing, music and the arts in general. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her.
A funeral service is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on December 20 at St. Cecilia Catholic Church on Davis Street. Father Edmundo Paredes will officiate.
