She was born in Seymore, TX on June 5, 1934, the daughter of the late JB and Mamie (Beeks) Koger.
Ruth was employed by Taylor Publishing Company in Dallas, TX before retiring in 1996.
Ruth loved watching sports and was a huge Dallas Cowboys fan. She also enjoyed spending hours in her garden tending to her vegetables and flowers.
Survivors include her children: Shelia Sanchez , Pamela Huret and fiancé Art Heald, Jr; grandchildren Steve Sanchez and wife Janell, LeAnn Canfield and husband Tim, Keith Casas, Kacey Casas and fiancé , Tony Pucci; beloved nieces Tammy Peyton Barton and Kim Largent, and several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Ruth is predeceased by her husband, John; her sister, Bobbie Peyton; her brothers, James Koger and Donnie Koger.
