Margaret Ozell was born on August 16, 1923 in Cumby, Texas to Ibrah Lee Easley and Henry Lee Beasley. She married the love of her life-Joe Ensley on April 20, 1946 after writing to him while he served in the US Army overseas. They lived around Cumby before moving to Irving and later Grand Prairie, where they raised three children, Patricia, Gordon and Mark. In 1982 they retired to Cumby to enjoy the country life near her sister and brothers. She was a faithful member of Calvary Baptist Church in Grand Prairie and Cumby Baptist Church. In 2010 she and Joe moved back to Grand Prairie.
Ozell devoted her entire life caring for her family. Margaret loved cooking, baking, sewing, crochet and crafts. She always had a meal ready and desserts made just in case someone dropped in. Her roast, mashed potatoes, red beans, sweet tea and desserts will never be forgotten! She always enjoyed visiting over a cup of coffee. We will always remember her as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, a great cook, meticulous housekeeper, and a woman of great faith. Galatians 5:22 describes her best, " But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy. peace, patience, kindness, goodness and faithfulness".
