Mary Ann (Redding) Little, age 84, of Grand Prairie, Texas passed away on Saturday, July 5, 2025. Mary Ann was born May 28, 1941 in Tyler, Texas to Nathan William Redding and Mary Maurine (Fields) Redding Cook.
Mary Ann graduated from Grand Prairie High School in 1959 and married Floyd David Little in 1959 and they settled in Grand Prairie. They were married for 66 years. Mary Ann had a variety of jobs working in retail in Downtown Dallas to church secretary to housewife.
Mary Ann and Floyd (Dave) attended St Joseph’s Episcopal Church then moved to St Andrew’s Anglican Church where they both were very active.
She loved to crochet and cross stitch in her spare time.
Mary Ann was preceded in death by her husband Floyd David (Dave) Little on May 23, 2025 and survived by her daughter, Vicki Little of Grand Prairie; son, David Little and wife Audrea of Arlington; three grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
A combined Requiem Mass and interment for both Mary Ann and Dave Little will be held on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mark’s Anglican Church 2024 S Collins St, Arlington, TX. A small reception will follow.
A request from the family, Dave was famous for his love of loud, colorful shirts—each one brighter and bolder than the last. In keeping with the joyful spirit he brought into every room, we invite you to wear your most vibrant shirt in his honor. Let’s send him off in full color, just the way he lived.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Mark’s Anglican Church or an Alzheimer’s organization.
