Michael L. Bailey

July 10, 1946 - January 31, 2021

Michael Bailey, 74, passed away on January 31, 2021 in Denison, TX, after a short illness with his family by his side. Michael was born on July 10, 1946 in Grand Prairie, TX. He attended Fort Worth and Grand Prairie schools.

Michael enjoyed watching old movies, especially Westerns, and TV in general. He liked the Dallas Cowboys, traveling when he could, and a good game of Wahoo, along with many other games.

Mike was a hard working man and loved his job. He started work at Vought Aircraft in 1985 and retired in 2006.

He is survived by 2 brothers and their spouses; James Bailey (Carol) of Grand Prairie TX and Phillip Lackey (Heather) of Kennedale, TX. Three sisters, Debbe Lackey Whitehead (Roy) of Walters, OK, Sally Lackey Clark of Anna, TX, and Pam Lackey Rogers (Ed Halpain) of Mansfield, TX., and his companion Edith Davis. Also, many cousins, nephews and nieces.

He was preceded in death by his beloved Mother, Iva Lynn Shetter Lackey, and Father, Jay P. Bailey, and Stepfather, James E. Lackey, Sr.
