Michael Lynn Whiteside

Michael Lynn Whiteside, of Grand Prairie, TX, went to be with our Lord, on March 8, 2015. He was born to Roe Helen (Walker) Ross in Muleshoe, TX, December 3, 1977. Michael lived in Clovis, NM until the age of 12, when he moved to Arlington, TX. After graduation from Lamar High School, he became a truck driver. He was known for his funny sense of humor and his constant jokester personality. He enjoyed working on cars, computers and loved to use his talents to make music. He was a big fan of the Dallas Cowboys and Dallas Mavericks. He met his wife, Amanda, in 2008. They were married on September 27, 2010, while on a cruise. He is survived by his wife Amanda (Pirtle) Whiteside; children Jordan, Tamera, and Whitney Whiteside; parents Roe and Richard Ross; siblings Jody Whiteside and wife Dawana, Kimberly Whiteside, Angelique Ibarra, Richard Star Ross, Joey Garcia, Brandi Hankins, Topsie Hankins, and Brian; mother-In- law Viki (Morris) Pirtle; brother-In-law Bradley Pirtle and wife Brittany; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Michael was loved by all who knew him and will be greatly missed. Public viewing will be at Bean-Massey-Burge Funeral Home Grand Prairie, TX, on Thursday, March 12, 2015 from 6-9pm. Funeral services will be held at Gospel Lighthouse Church, Dallas, TX, on Friday, March 13, 2015, at 2pm. Interment will be at Moore Memorial Gardens in Arlington, TX.
