Growing up Mike was a military child, living in many different states, some included Hawaii and California. During high school he participated in football. Mike was a very strong willed person who had a vocal opinion with a silly sense of humor. After high school he enrolled in college to be a doctor until he was drafted into the Army. He proudly served for 2 years before returning to school. After realizing that being a doctor was not his calling he did find his place in the world as a metallurgist for the Air Force and Bell Helicopter among several.
Mike spent 28 years with the love of his life Pamela, they were married in January of 2004. He ran his family as a military man. He enjoyed watching Turner Classic Movies and never missed a day of MSMBC. He liked politics so much he would quiz his grandchildren on it. Mike was a member of the Elk's Lodge in Arlington, was an avid sports fan, but excelled at playing golf and fishing.
Mike is survived by his wife Pamela Luther, son Jonathan White and wife Melissa, and grandchildren Kiley, Makayla and Payton.
