Nestor Hernandez II
January 30, 1991 – April 2, 2025
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved younger brother, Nestor Hernandez II, who left us far too soon on April 2, 2025, at the age of 34. Born on January 30, 1991, in Dallas, Texas, he was a cherished son to Nestor and Dora Hernandez, and a beacon of light and kindness to all who knew him.
Nestor was the embodiment of love, warmth, and generosity. From an early age, he showed a unique compassion and desire to care for those around him. Whether it was calling his cousins and aunts just to check in, or going out of his way to support friends and family, his selflessness and genuine spirit never went unnoticed.
Despite facing challenges of his own, he never hesitated to be there for others. His strength and resilience were matched only by the joy he brought into every room. His laughter was unforgettable, often filling gatherings with energy and comfort.
A lover of music and art, Nestor expressed himself in the most beautiful and creative ways. These passions brought him peace and joy, and he shared them freely with others, enriching their lives with his talent and enthusiasm. He loved to sing even though he didn’t completely know the lyrics to the songs and often free-styled his own version to those songs.
As a child, he proudly participated in the Boy Scouts, a testament to his early commitment to community, learning, and helping others. These values stayed with him throughout his life. He also had a deep love for animals especially his dog Smokey.
Nestor will be remembered most for his enormous heart, his radiant smile, his contagious laugh and the love he so freely gave. His devotion to his faith and God. His memory will continue to live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and everyone who had the privilege to know him.
He is preceded by his parents, Nestor and Dora Hernandez, and survived by his sisters Nallely Hernandez and Xochitl Hernandez, his nieces who he loved dearly Yaretzi Z. Sanders and Zoey G. Rodriguez, brother in law Nicholas Rodriguez and a large extended family who will forever cherish the beautiful moments shared with him.
Rest in peace, dear little brother. Your love remains with us always.
