Norma J Morrow

Norma was born in Petoskey, Michigan, on May 27, 1933, to Donald and Esther Lamkin. She was her parents third child. Her family attended the Pentecostal Church of God where Norma gave her heart to Jesus at the age of fourteen.

In 1951, Norma moved to Grand Prairie, Texas. Over several years, she gave birth to four daughters; Cynthia Jean in 1952, Reta Kay in 1954, Debra Elaine in 1959, and Jerri Gayle in 1962. Her family attended the Assembly of God Church. When her children were very young, Norma recommitted her life to the Lord.

Norma married Lloyd Richard Pyatt in 1971. With this marriage, Norma gained a daughter, Dianna Gayle and a son, Richard “Rick” Wayne. Lloyd passed away in 1980 following a fatal accident.

In 1985, Norma married James “Jim” Littleton Morrow. With this marriage, she gained two daughters, Melinda Diane and Ladonna Suzanne. Jim passed away in 2011 due to natural causes.

Norma worked for Ling-Temco-Vought, which later became Lockheed Martin, from 1953 until retiring in 1996.

Norma is preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Esther Lamkin; her siblings, Betty Jane Lamkin, Shirley Elaine Bryson, Charles Richard “Dick” Lamkin, and stillborn triplets that were unnamed; one child, Richard “Rick” Wayne Pyatt.

Norma is survived by her children; Cynthia Jean Kammer (Barry), Reta Kay Crowe (Pat), Debra Elaine Roden, Jerri Gayle Haack (Robert), Dianna Gayle Godfrey, Melinda Dianne Henry, Ladonna Suzanne Yarbrough (David); grandchildren, Holly Schulze, Barry Kammer, Jr., Melissa Coker, Mark Coker, Eleanor Finney, Natalie Haack, Kimberly Williams, Raymond Godfry III, Braden Henry, Corben Henry, Ethan Henry, Daria Yarbrough, Cash Yarbrough. Great Grandchildren; William Schulze, Henry Schulze, Abigail Kammer, Garrett Finney, Carter Finney, Tyler Finney, Adelynn Finney, Johnna Hill, Tristan Godfrey, Blaine Godfrey, Emily Godfrey, Logan Henry, Allie Henry, Avery Henry, and Paisley Henry.
