In his off-time, he loved driving 18-wheeler truck rigs as a hobby, and completed many trips hauling cattle for local ranchers, and later on taking cross country trips for Yellow Freight after he retired from the FAA. He also loved traveling in their RV, and thoroughly enjoyed participating and socializing in organized trips with friends. At home, Paul greatly enjoyed watching classic western movies, and spending quality time with family.
