

A proud graduate of the Class of 1965, Pete married his beloved wife Esperanza Brown on February 24, 1968. Together, they shared 57 wonderful years of love, laughter, and devotion to family.
Pete worked for many years as a skilled pattern cutter and concluded his career with retirement from Dallas Market Hall in 2020. A man of quiet strength and deep faith, he was a devoted member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church.
Known for his steady hand at the billiards table and his knack for crossword puzzles, Pete also found his greatest joy in spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. His warmth, patience, and sense of humor will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Pete leaves behind a legacy of love, hard work, and family devotion. He will be forever remembered and cherished.
Pete is survived by wife Esperanza Brown; children Vince Lazzo, Pete Brown IV and wife Elizabeth, Jesse Brown and wife Elma, and Michael Brown; grandchildren Pete Brown V and wife Sarah, Larissa Brown, Nathan Brown, Devin Brown, and Ryan Brown; great-grandchildren Pete Brown VI, Xander Montenegro, and Xaiden Montenegro.
Pete was preceded in death by his parents Pete Brown Jr. and Marie H. Brown.
A Visitation for Pete will be held on Monday, April 21, 2025 at 5:30 PM – 8:00 PM with a Rosary at 7:00 PM at Grand Prairie Funeral Home, 733 Dalworth Street, Grand Prairie, TX 75050. Funeral service will be the following day on Tuesday, April 22, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of San Juan de los Lagos – Santa Teresita, 2601 Singleton Blvd, Dallas, TX 75212.
