Pete Castillo Sr.

Pete grew up in Dallas, Texas where he attended Crozier Tech High School. He worked for Padgett Printing as a pressman before going into business for himself. He owned the Casita de Castillo restaurant and did upholstery.

Pete was a loving husband and father who enjoyed spoiling his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He loved spending his free time with family or doing activities outdoors such as hunting, fishing and traveling. He loved hill country and had a small get away in West Texas.

Pete was a hard worker and wonderful provider for his family. He had a great sense of humor and a large group of friends. He enjoyed watching the Texas Rangers, Dallas Cowboys, hunting shows and classic western movies. His family was #1 and the best gift he gave them was his time.

Pete is preceded in death by his parents and 2 siblings: Anselmo Castillo and Velma Orona.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years Ninfa Rojo Castillo; sons Richard Rojo Castillo, Pete Castillo Jr., Albert Castillo; daughters: Lupe Ann Castillo, Elizabeth Castillo Marceleno and her husband Robert, Ursula Ann Castillo; daughter-in-law Sandra Castillo; grandchildren: Richard Castillo, Christopher Castillo, Andrea Castillo, Adrian Castillo, Raymond Gonzales Jr., Victoria Rae Gonzales, Albert Anselmo Castillo, Natalie Castillo; great-grandson Christopher Aiden Gonzales; cousin Ruth Ann Lopez.

Memorial Service will be Friday, October 9, 2015 at Bean Massey Burge Chapel from 3-5pm.
