Robert George Cooper Sr. 70, of Grand Prairie, Texas died Saturday June 27, 2015. He was born to Sidney and Alice Cooper on November 10, 1944 in Watervalley, Mississippi.
Robert was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend to many. He worked for 24 years at Auto Zone,he was part owner of Metroplex Auto, and for 7 years he worked for Grand Prairie Auto Supply. When he wasn't working, Robert enjoyed fishing, bowling, and golfing.
He was preceded in death by parents, Sidney and Alice Cooper, three brothers Frank Cooper, Billy Joe Cooper and Paul Cooper, one sister Paulette Kennedy.
Survivors: His loving wife of 48 years, Ella Cooper, three children, Robert Cooper Jr.( Lacy ) of Grand Prairie, Robin West ( Jim ) of Moody Texas, and JoAnn Bonds of Gun Barrel, Texas. Two sisters, Louis Jones of Mansfield, Texas and Karen Hoyle of Grand Prairie, Texas. nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, plus a host of other relatives and friends.
