Rodney and Arlene have been such a positive influence in my life.  I remember all the times I stayed the night, played with my cousins, and even went on road trips.  I am greatful for the time we had and sorry to see him go.

So sorry to hear of Rodney's passing. Will keep you and your grandsons in our prayers.

Rodney, I'm so sorry, you put up one hell of a fight, you hung in, until God waved the towel. My uncle u will be missed.I have a lot of great Memories, when we were kids. My dad and Glenda and me staying all night and going to Six Flags. Cedar creek lake, and I will never forget ( when I turned18) our night out on the town.  And so many more. Rodney It was fun.

I am so sorry Arlene.....I have prayed for you, your family and Rodney everyday...what a huge absence his passing has left in this world.  The comfort comes in knowing that Rodney is in a better place, and one day we will see him again.  I love you and am here for you. Rodney you will be greatly missed. I always enjoyed talking with you and laughing at your stories. You were such a good person. Cody loved coming over and hanging out with you and Arlene. He always told me he learned a lot from you. We will always miss you.

Uncle Rodney, I will always remember the young man combing a full head of hair, gazing in the mirror, and saying to himself, "Damn, you're good looking!"  I'll always remember the wise man who fell in love at first sight with Aunt Arlene, married her, and spent a lifetime loving her.  I'll also always remember you loving me as much as I love you and always will.  I thank you for all this and much, much more. XO

I have so many happy and fun childhood memories with my Uncle Rodney and Aunt Arlene. The ducks, swimming, ridding the law mower, tarantulas, looking at old pictures, eating big pickles in the summertime and being spoiled and loved on every minute I was with you. You will be very very missed. ?

You were the true definition of a man. You always provided for you and yours and even a few others that were not yours. You had a generous soul. There was never a lack in conversation any time we visited together. Those visits will be missed. I'm glad you are at piece. There will be an empty place in hearts.

You were always like a father to me. I learned a lot from our long talks. I will continue to spread the wisdom and admiration that you instilled upon me. You will forever be remembered in my memories. You were one of the reasons that I joined the military. You influenced a lot of lives.         Shaun Sullivan
