Ruthie-It's been almost four months since you unexpectedly left us, we will never fill the void. Thanks for the lessons. It's tough when you realize in retrospect valuable life lessons from someone, and only realize the lessons when they are gone. Thank you for being a great mother-in-law, grandmother and mother. The boys, Tanya and I deeply miss you and I do not expect our lives to ever be the same. Personally, I will stand by my commitment to take care of Tanya and the rest of the the family. We love you and miss you. Please look over us until we get to see you on the other side.   -Tommy

Very sorry to hear of Ruth's passing. Grew up in Grand Prairie & remember her in school, I was one grade below Ruth. About to have our 45th class reunion. Keeping your family & friends in my thoughts & prayer. Too many Gophers have passed. RIP my friend!

She will always be in my heart.  She has helped my son and loved him.  She made such a difference in his life.  My thoughts and prayers are with her family.  She truly will be missed.

We were so sorry to hear of Ruth's passing. We met Ruth and Shannon through the Grand Prairie Special Olympics. Brett really enjoyed bowling with Shannon and having Ruth as his bowling coach. When he learned of her death, he said "she was a good friend, person and coach and I am very sad for Shannon and her family." May God give comfort and peace to her family and friends. We will be out of town during the time of her funeral, but please know you are in our thoughts and prayers.

I was sorry to hear of Ruthies passing.  She was was one of my Brownies in Girl Scouts when she was aboutnine or ten years old.  Such a sweet little girl  I have very good memories of her.      Tommie Kaps   Grand Prairie

Grew up and went to school with Ruthie.  We really got to know each other in Brownie Scouts.  This fine lady was always the sweetest, kindest, down to earth person you could know.  She was always happy and positive anytime we happen to run into each other.  Guess I saw her last a couple of years ago.  We talked and she was like always........happy and cheerful.  This world will surely miss one as sweet as Ruthie.  May God comfort you in this great loss.     Doris Kaps Alexander

I will miss seeing Miss Ruthie with Shannon around the apartment complex.  She will be missed.  She is now in a new body with her loved ones that have gone on before.  We are left to grieve and miss her.
