Thomas grew up in Dallas where he attended Thomas Jefferson High School. In 1976 he married JoAnn a longtime friend and they spent many wonderful years together. While working he met Louise, a dispatcher in 1982. They were married February 25, 1985.
Thomas enjoyed fishing and riding his Harley Davidson. He was very strong willed, caring, loving and quick witted man. He was a jack-of-all-trades and loved living the simple life. A generous teddy bear, he was very easy to talk to because he never judged you. Thomas was a truck driver for 31 years, and traveled all over the United States.
Above all he loved spending time with his family and watching the Dallas Cowboys! His nickname from his grandchildren was “Pap Poo” and he would always say “planes do not even fly when the Cowboys play.”
Thomas is preceded in death by his father Thomas Irving Brewer Sr., sister, Mary Ruth Higdon and nephew Ricky Higdon Jr.
He is survived by his mother R. Lavurn Brewer, daughter, Stacy Casias and her husband Abram and children: Emily Casias, Rayme Castilleja, Serena Alvarez, Andy Casias, Savana Guerra, Mariam Casias.
