Virginia Mae James

Virginia Green James (Ginger) 78 of Grand Prairie, Texas passed away June 20, 2016 in Dallas, Texas. She was born January 12, 1938 to Norris & Fairy Green in Sweetwater, Texas. She married Malcomb L. James of Wichita Falls, Texas on December 19,1954. They lived in Wichita Falls before settling in Grand Prairie. Ginger worked as a hairdresser at Marci’s Beauty Shop in Grand Prairie for many years. Ginger is proceeded in death by her parents; Norris & Fairy Green, three brothers Daryl, Ronnie, & Kenny Green. She is survived by her husband Malcomb (Macky) James, two sons, Gary James and wife Karen of Richardson, Texas, and Mark James of Grand Prairie, Texas; Two granddaughters; Stacey Ruby and husband Kirt of Allen, Texas and Tracey Greenwood and husband Josh of Allen, five great grandchildren; Sam, Emerson, & Caroline Ruby and Brooke & Max Greenwood of Allen, Texas. Two brothers, Russell Green and wife Denise of Ector, Texas, Royce Green and wife Kay of Palo Pinto, Texas, half-brother Norris J. Green Jr. of Sweetwater, Texas and half-sister Sheila Mayes and husband Chris of Abilene, Texas and many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and lots of cousins.

Funeral services will be held at Del Angel Funeral Home 733 Dalworth Street, Grand Prairie, Texas.

Visitation- Thursday June 23, 2016 from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m.

Funeral Service- Friday June 24, 2016 10:30 a.m.

burial to follow at Moore Memorial Gardens in Arlington, TX.
