

After a long battle with Frontotemporal Degeneration and Aphasia Wayne Richard Vaughan, 79, of Grand Prairie, TX passed away December 15, 2014. He was born in Fort Worth, TX on March 5, 1935. He attended Poly High School in Ft. Worth in Texas and was married to Eartha Vaughan on February 12, 1954. Wayne Vaughan retired from Texas Instruments after 33 years of service. He was a member of Texas Instruments Alumni Association, volunteered at the Vought Retirement Club where he helped refurbish aircrafts including the V-173 Flying Pancake. He enjoyed going to The Summit Senior Center to walk on a daily basis. He had a passion for aircraft and family activities. He is survived by his wife of 60 years Eartha Vaughan; daughters Kay Vaughan Maxson and husband Nat of Pottsboro, TX, Linda Vaughan Kane and husband Gregg of Ft. Worth, TX; son Larry Vaughan and friend Donna McLemore of Venus, TX; grandchildren Cathy Hart and husband Chris of Venus, TX, David Vaughan and wife Jamie of Denton, TX; great-grandchildren Jaxon and Huxley Hart of Venus, TX; brother Bobby Vaughan and wife Sue of Godley, TX; nephews Billy Vaughan and wife Amanda of Godley, TX, Shawn Brady and wife Norma of Grand Prairie, TX, Debbie Brady Biedleman and husband Rich of Schertz, TX and niece Debbie Bradley of Granbury, TX.
