Aloysius “Al” Kieda, aged 84, went to his heavenly home on September 23, 2013. He was loved by all and will be missed by his wife of 61 years Lorraine, their children: Alan (Alyson) Kieda, Daniel (Jean) Kieda, Janet (Saleem) Durvesh, Sharon (Rick) Vande Kopple, twelve grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and his brother Wallace (Mary) Kieda. Al proudly served his country during the Korean Conflict and worked for Kelvinator for over 40 years. Please join his family on Thursday, September 26, 2013, at Reyers North Valley Chapel for visitation from 6-8 pm. Funeral Services will be held at 11 am on Friday, September 27, 2013, at Immanuel Lutheran Church (2 Michigan St. N.E., Grand Rapids, Michigan 49503) with Pastor Craig Bickel officiating. One hour of additional visitation Friday morning at church from 10-11 am.
