Arnold A. Wilton, aged 87 of Grand Rapids, passed away peacefully Sunday, October 10, 2010. He was preceded in death by his wife, Carrie (Lombard) Wilton, his daughter Gladys (Wilton) Sommers, and his great grandson Zachary Scott. Surviving are his children, William (Cheryl) Wilton, Robert Wilton, Phyllis (Marco) Medina, Jan (Richard) Lane, Delores (Al) Moradi, and his son-in-law, James Summer. 16 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. Arnold served his country during WWII with the U.S. Navy Merchant Marines. Funeral and committal services will be held 3:00 p.m. Thursday at the Reyers North Valley Chapel. Interment in Kent Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the chapel.
