Daddy,

I said many things about you in my Facebook post yesterday and there are still so many things.

I am so honored that the Lord chose me to be one of your children.  Thank you for loving me to  the ends of the earth.  Our trips in the truck when I was younger, our trips to Berlin, teaching me how to drive a manual, all of our trips back and forth to Indiana when I lived Utah but was in Indiana for a work but wanted to come home for a visit because I missed you guys, all of the times you called around to prices to get my car fixed, for loving my children like your own even though you were their Papa, the joy on your face when you got to see your great grandchildren, for loving Mom so completely, but mostly for just being my Dad.

Selfishly I want you here with us still, but, I know that you are no longer hurting and that is the only thing that currently brings me any peace.

I hope that you are sitting up in heaven with a hot cup of coffee with Jinx, Gus, Griffin and Jojo.  

Like Brandy said, don’t worry about Mom, we got her and will take the best care of her.

I will always remember you as a child playing with all your little cars on that oval rug of Mom’s. You would line up like a 100 cars and slowly-1at a time move them forward about a small car length. You would lay on the floor doing this for hours.   It was a happy place and time for you. 

Also  remember the little blow up pool that Grandma & Grandpa Forsythe brought us 1 summer. And how we all 3 of us tried to all fit in that little pool. But we had a good time running thru it and getting wet that summer. 
Thank you for all the wonderful/helpful talks over the years. You have helped me more than you know. You helped fill spaces left empty when others I loved  were called home. And now you are called home and I don’t know who is going to help me fill those spaces . 
I’m happy that you are out of pain and have no more limitations. That you can move  again. But I miss you and want you back also.

Daddy,

You are the absolute best man I’ve ever known. I know you’re at peace and when it’s my time to meet Jesus you will greet me with arms wide open. Until then, I am going to carry every memory of you closely and  will use every skill you taught me. Every time I hear “Brandy You’re a Fine Girl” I will think of you singing it to me like you did my entire life. My birthday won’t be the same without you since you, Will, and I celebrated together so many times. It was my honor and privilege to be your daughter!!!

Don’t worry about Mom, we’ve got her, just like we saw you do our entire lives. You set a great example for us to follow and the bar high. No greater husband, father and Papa did God create! 

I do and always will love and miss you so so very much!

Dear Baby Brother
I miss you.  You will always be in my heart. And I know you are going to be a terrific guardian angel for all of your family. I treasure all my memories with you and of you. 
May you find the peace you richly deserve. May you and Gus have great times walking in heaven.
