Dan attended Kenowa Hills High School. He held many different jobs throughout his life. He was a carpenter and built houses with his father. He went on to work for Steelcase, and then did remodeling and plumbing. He liked to spend his freetime outdoors. He could always be found fishing, camping, cruising in his dune buggy, or playing golf. When he wasn't enjoying the great outdoors he was a fan of NASCAR and loved to watch the races, or play video games on his playstation. Above all, he was a family man. His greatest joy was his family - Dan loved spending his time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren, who knew him as "Papa Dan". Dan was a loving, funny, grumpy, stubborn, and very organized man who will be deeply missed by his close friends and family.
