David Carl Markham

David Carl Markham Jr., aged 61, passed away on September 19, 2015 following a courageous battle with diabetes. David was born in 1954 in Grand Rapids to David and Dorothea Markham. David Sr. precedes him in death as well as David’s brother-in-law Steve Lovley. Along with his devoted wife of 40 years, Sherie Richardson, David is survived by his mother Dorothea (Plumton); daughters Brooke (Michael) Schreur and Nicolette Markham; siblings Pamela (Jose) Ortiz of Kent City, Lorrie Lovley of Jenison and Donald Markham, brother-in-laws Mark (Becky), Rob Richardson, sister-in-laws Sean (Jeff) Marriott and Carrie Cervantes as well as 3 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. David enjoyed his work as a professional disc jockey. He was an avid antique bottle collector and a member of the Grand Rapids Antique Bottle Club. He also appreciated all things antique. A funeral service and visitation celebrating David’s life has been scheduled for Friday, September 25, 2015 at the Reyers North Valley Chapel with visitation beginning at 11:00 am followed a service at 1:00 pm officiated by Rev. Jason Hubbard. Interment will follow at Plainfield Township Cemetery.
