

HAUSSER, Diane “Dee” was called to her eternal home in heaven on Friday night, October 9, 2015 at the age of 81. She will be greatly missed by her loving husband, Gerald A. Hausser, her daughters, Debbie Graf, Janet (Don) Fehsenfeld, Jill (Patrick) Russell, her step-sons, John (Kaye) Hausser, Don Hausser and Steve Hausser, her beautiful grandchildren Jamie, Erica and Sophie Winn, and Victoria, Sam, and John Russell, as well as her loving and faithful dog Lexi.
Dee was born on May 18, 1934 in Dearborn, Michigan to Dr. Newton and Dorothy Felch. She attended Henry Ford’s Greenfield Village Edison Institute grade and high schools, and was in the last class to graduate from the high school in 1952. She attended MSU, achieving her associate’s degree.
Married in 1955 to Ernest E. Graf (deceased), they had four children, one of which passed away as an infant. Moving to Grand Rapids in 1963, Dee did volunteer work at Spectrum Hospital downtown and east campus’. She was also a secretary and manpower analyst at Amway Corporation. After retiring from Amway, she opened her own wedding consultant business “Dreams Come True”. On July 7, 1978 she married Gerry, who became her lifelong partner and best friend.
In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place and services of remembrance will be held at St. Thomas the Apostle Parish (1449 Wilcox Park Dr. Se, Grand Rapids, MI 49506) on Friday October 23, 2015 at 10:30am, with a family greeting friends at 10am.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to Hospice of Michigan at 989 Spaulding SE, Ada, MI 49301; ASPCA (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) at 6955 W. Kalamazoo Ave, Kalamazoo, MI 49009; or Best Friends Animal Sanctuary at 5001 Angel Canyon Road, Kanab, UT 84741-5000 would be appreciated.
