Dolores M. Hoover, age 84, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, June 15, 2013. She will be deeply missed by her husband Harold Hoover; sons Mike (Dalila) Hoover and Jay Hoover; grandchildren Jamie Hoover, Cassie Hoover and Sarah Hoover; brother Gerard Johnson; sister-in-laws Margaret Karel and Jeanne Shawhan; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her brothers Robert Johnson, Richard Johnson, and Gene Johnson. Dolores has been a long time member of the St. Jude Catholic Church congregation. Throughout life she worked as not only a secretary but as a mother. The family will be greeting friends from 10:00-11:00 AM on Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at St. Jude Catholic Church (1120 4 Mile Rd NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49525). The Mass of Christian Burial to celebrate Dolores’ life will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at St. Jude Catholic Church. In Lieu of flowers, donations in Dolores’ memory may be made to the American Lung Association or St. Jude Catholic Church.
