Dona Joyce Workman

Dona Joyce Workman (Campbell), aged 76, passed away on Tuesday, May 11, 2015. Dona was born in Gaylord, MI to the late Maggie and Colin Campbell. She is also preceded by her brothers Milo, Doug and Marcell Campbell, and her sister Betty Houghteling. Dona is survived by her husband Neil Workman, her daughters LeeAnn Campbell, Tammi (Chris) McCoy, Amy Krauss, Sherry Workman, Colleen Dufort, her sons Jerry (Jenny) Krauss, Scott Workman, her grandchildren Sarah Deemer, Kyle (Camille) Breidenfield, Eric (Lauren) Christopherson, Travis, Maggie, Kole and Luke Krauss, Katie and Stephanie Roy, Britney Shackelford, Christopher and Brandy McCoy, and five great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother Colin (Catherine) Campbell and many nieces and nephews. Dona was a dedicated employee of General Motors for many years until retirement. She also belonged to many organizations and held roles such as the Queen of Red Hat Society chapter, a Delegate of UAW 1231, and was a Member of Kent County Democratic Party Committee. Dona was happiest when her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren were around her. Dona also enjoyed volunteering with many organizations. Please join the family for a time of visitation on Thursday, May 14, 2015 from 5-8pm at Reyers North Valley Chapel. An additional time of visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday, May 15, 2015 from 10-11am with the memorial service beginning at 11am. In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial contribution to the Alzheimer’s Association.
