Donna Claire Rosa

Donna Claire Rosa, age 83, passed away peacefully on June 3, 2025, at Rest Haven Home after a courageous battle with Parkinson’s Disease. Donna was born in Grand Rapids on September 19, 1941, to James and Daisy (Loree) Rosa and was a lifelong resident of the area.

Donna found peace tending to her beautiful gardens. She had the green thumb many aspire to have, and she used her talents to become a Master Gardener. She was also active with the Daylily Society.

Her gentle nature made her a passionate dog lover. She was particularly fond of her own 4-legged companions, but she never found a pooch she didn’t love.

She enjoyed volunteering in her community. She spent many years assisting at Meijer Gardens and the Kent County Library on Plainfield.

Her sweet and gentle spirit endeared Donna to all who knew her. Her kindness to animals, care of delicate flowers and love of friendship will be missed.

Donna is survived by her cousins Vickie Roberts, Marcia Rosa, devoted friend Jackie Meester and her extended family and friends.

The family expresses their heartfelt gratitude to Jackie for her dedicated care and friendship to Donna. They also thank Rest Haven and Faith Hospice for their compassion and attentive care.

Visitation for Donna will be held on Saturday June 14, 2025, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Reyers North Valley Chapel. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a memorial donation to your favorite organization in memory of Donna.
