Heidi was a life-long member of Immanuel Lutheran Church. She attended Immanuel St. James School, and later Central High School. She was a graduate of Grand Valley state University where she earned her bachelor's in Psychology. Then she went on to graduate from CC Culinary School. Heidi worked for many years as a Sous-Chef for Kent Country Club. She loved camping, wood-working, cooking, and her dogs. She was a caring, helpful, and hard-working woman who will be deeply missed.
Heidi was preceded in death by her father, Burton Uecker.
Heidi is survived by: mother, Lois Uecker; siblings, Holly (Daniel) Uecker-Herman, Bryan Uecker (Partner Marc), Heather (Tim) Remy, Leslie (Don) Clifford, and Petey (Greg) Pohlad; 12 nieces and nephews, and several great nieces and nephews; special friends, Cherie Giles, and Sherrie Beidler; as well as, dogs, Lily and Logan.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, April 19, 2023 at 11:00am at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 2 Michigan St. NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49503. The family will welcome guests one hour prior to the start of the service. A Luncheon will take place after the service, also at the church. Interment will take place at Rosedale Cemetery.
