Jack Klinger, age 75, of Grand Rapids, Michigan peacefully passed away on May 31, 2023. Born in Fremont, Michigan, one of seven children of Harold and Evelyn (Vegter) Klinger, Jack lived in Grand Rapids most of his life. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in Vietnam.
Jack greatly enjoyed family gatherings where he could show his love through cooking a delicious meal, followed by game night. He unofficially became "Bubba" with the birth of his first grandchild in 2007. He found great joy in passing down his love of games to his grandchildren and finding good deals on the many gifts he gave them. Jack loved to find a great deal!
He is survived by: his wife, Carol; three children, Jill (Bill) Snook, Joe (Erin) Klinger, Jeff Klinger; 4 grandchildren, Carli, Grant, Kara, Paige; 2 brothers: Charles (Judy) Klinger, Gerald (Lois) Klinger; sister-in-law, Sharon Klinger; brother-in-law, Fred Hall.
Jack was preceded in death by: his parents, his sister, June Hall and 3 of his brothers, Roger, Gordon, and Thomas Klinger.
